ABOUT US
The Los Angeles Radiological Society (LARS) founded in 1920, is dedicated to the promotion of high standards of practice in medicine overall with a focus primarily on Radiology and Radiation Oncology. Members of the Society adhere to the medical and ethical standards of practice adopted by the American College of Radiology.
Membership in LARS is the entrance to organized Radiology, including the California Radiological Society (CRS), the American College of Radiology (ACR), and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO). Organized Radiology exists to promote standards of excellence in practice and science, and to assure that Radiology is fully represented in political and socioeconomic deliberations.
