  • Attend courses only in the conference you select,
  • Or mix and match courses between both conferences

Three ways to register: 

  • Securely online with Visa or MasterCard;
  • Download a registration form to fax or mail to LARS with Visa,  MasterCard or check payment;
  • Complete and fax or mail the registration form on your conference brochure with Visa, MasterCard or check payment.

Confirmation of registration will be emailed to confirm receipt of your registration form and tuition.

Registrations without accompanying payment cannot be completed.  American Express card is not accepted.

Registration deadlines:

  • Registration accepted until 5:00pm, Friday, April 25.  Faxed forms and phone registrations will not be accepted after April 25.
  • Onsite registration begins at 7:00am May 3 (A $20 onsite fee will be assessed).
  • Cancellations must be made in writing  and received by April 25.  Mailed cancellations must be postmarked on or before April 23.  Refunds, less a $30 handling fee, will be made after the conference.
  • Transfers must be made in writing by the original registration and received on or before April 25.
Food and Beverage
Conference registration fees include continental style breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and coffee breaks twice daily.  On Saturday a luncheon with panel discussion will be hosted.  On Sunday, a casual, sit-down luncheon will be served
Parking
The Sheraton Universal Hotel will offer convention self-parking rates of $10 daily / $16 overnight, and valet-parking rates of $14 daily / $21 overnight.
Attire - IMPORTANT
Meeting room temperatures vary greatly within each room.  For your comfort, be prepared for cold spots, and bring a sweater or jacket.  Dress for the meeting is business casual.
Physician CME
The Los Angeles Radiological Society (LARS) is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  LARS takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity. 

LARS designates the Body Imaging portion of this activity for a maximum of 12.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(TM) and the Diagnostic Ultrasound portion of this educational activity for a maximum of 12.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(TM).  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.  This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education.

Cultural Competency

This activity has been planned in compliance with California Assembly Bill 1195 which requires continuing medical education activities with patient care components to include curriculum in the subjects of cultural and/or linguistic competency.  Cultural competency is defined as a set of integrated attitudes, knowledge, and skills that enables health care professionals or organizations to care effectively for patients from diverse cultures, groups, and communities.  Linguistic competency is defined as the ability of a physician or surgeon to provide patients who do not speak English or who have limited ability to speak English, direct communication in the patient's primary language.  Cultural and linguistic competency was incorporated into the planning for this activity.
